EVALUACIÓN SANITARIA DE COMUNIDADES

Los representantes de la CONFENAIE, los presidentes de las siete nacionalidades de Pastaza, técnicos de la Coordinación Zonal 3, el Gerente del Hospital Puyo y los Directores Distritales realizaron una primera evaluación sanitaria de estas comunidades y se socializó sobre el Sistema de Salud, el rol de los TAPS en cada territorio y se acordó una planificación conjunta para la ejecución de brigadas integrales en el interior.

César Molina, Coordinador Zonal 3 Salud, los directores distritales de Pastaza y el Gerente del Hospital Puyo, propiciaron el Diálogo con las Nacionalidades de esta provincia para determinar las fortalezas y los principales problemas donde se intervendrá. Molina invitó a la dirigencia para que de manera coordinada, entre el Ministerio de Salud y las Organizaciones, se planifique de manera total la atención para los pobladores de todas las nacionalidades.
DRA. HEIDY BARROSO, GENETISTA DEL HOSPITAL PUYO INFORMA SOBRE EL DÍA MUNDIAL DE LAS ENFERMEDADES RARAS

Dra. Heydi Barroso, Genetista del Hospital General Puyo, en el Día Mundial de Enfermedades Raras, informa sobre la importancia de la genética y de los factores de riesgos para la ocurrencia de estas patologías, por ejemplo los riesgos de la mujer embarazada a la exposición de tóxicos o la falta de control prenatal en donde se la puede aplicar pruebas de detección precoz de mal formaciones así como también las ventajas del Tamizaje Neonatal.

ENTREGA GRATUITA DE AUDÍFONOS PARA PACIENTES CON DISCAPACIDAD AUDITIVA

El servicio de Audiología, del Hospital General Puyo, realiza el proceso de entrega gratuita de audífonos para pacientes con discapacidad auditiva. En su mayoría los beneficiarios de estas ayudas técnicas, han sido ya valorados en los Centros de Salud y fueron referidos a este Hospital. "Tenemos una dotación de 350 audífonos para esta primera campaña, en Mayo y la siguiente será en Noviembre, manifestó Gabriela Arce, Responsable de Audología". Mientras que Miguel Idrovo, usuario, recomendó el buen uso y cuidado de estos aparatos, ya que son muy efectivos pero sensibles; en clínicas particulares estos audífonos cuestan entre 1500 y 2000 dólares.
